I lived on a sailboat in the Caribbean for three years. It was a dream come true in times of a massive inner shift. Emotionally it was one of the hardest times of my life and when I look back the only thing I regret is not being more present in the moment. Actually, the only thing I ever regret in life is not being fully present in whatever experience I’m having.

Those memories of raising the sails to explore new islands, being surrounded by turquoise waters and glowing algae, diving with turtles. These are the magical experiences that I reflected on while painting this. These experiences I could have enjoyed even deeper if my emotional traumas were healed and I was more capable of living in the “Now”.
