It takes courage to honor our inner knowing.

Reflecting on how I was conditioned for many years to ignore my own feelings. This piece depicts emerging, breaking through, coming out from the shackles of repression, being re-born. The texture of cracking rock with the subtle yet determined expression of the soul peeking through.

As with the other works in this collection, this work represents a spiritual shift and coming back to an authentic self.
